Paul is a creative and lateral thinker, skilled in analysis and synthesis. He is a skilled and experienced chair of meetings, fluent and articulate in presentation, and is extensively networked in Australian and International education settings. Paul is also a member of the Ombudsman Victoria's Investigative Panel, with special reference to Higher Education.
Background
Paul's education includes a completed Bachelor's degree, a current enrolment at Master's level, and extensive professional grounding in management training. Paul was closely involved with the establishment of the Australasian professional association for general staff in Australian post-secondary and university providers the Australian Institute of Tertiary Educational Managers (AITEA) now ATEM. He has regularly participated in the annual conferences of this organisation since its inception in 1976, with a particular emphasis on professional development and training.
Professionally, Paul has more than thirty years experience in the provision of management support services to educational providers particularly in the Higher Education and VET sectors, and has worked at senior levels in Australia and many neighbouring countries.
